Makro is looking for leaders of tomorrow, through their cadetship programme.
This programme is aimed at previously disadvantaged individuals and offers the opportunity to achieve a B.Com degree as well as a managerial career in retail.

We are looking for people in their final year of matric who are on track to matriculate with maths and english and who have the following attributes: under the age of 23, are previously disadvantaged, are in your final year of matric (grade 12) with Maths and English.

Applications for the programme should be submitted between January and end of June of each year for the following year. End of June will automatically be the closing date.

Applicants must be willing to work one weekend day in a Makro store as a part of the selection process and undergo training during school holidays.

If selected, the scheme involves working in a Makro store whilst studying part time for a B.Com degree.  Generous study time is given by the company.
