terms and conditions: This competition commences on 1 February 2011 and ends on 28 February 2011. Entry into the competition will be automatic, using the customer details and actual purchasing data on the SAP CRM system. Customers will receive an entry into the draw when they purchase a Biometric attendance register from any Makro store. All customers are eligible to enter the competition on the condition that they are a permanent resident in South Africa, over the age of 18 years and have ensured that their complete, accurate and up to date name, contact telephone number and South African identity number are captured and appear on the Makro CRM system. One lucky winner will receive a R5000 Makro Gift Card. Prize/s are not transferrable and may not be deferred, changed or exchanged for cash or any other item. The winners will be drawn randomly on 7 March 2011. Winners details will be published on the Makro website. The winner/s must collect their prize from a Makro store, at a time arranged with the Makro representative, within one month of being notified, failing which they will forfeit the prize, and in which event, Makro reserves the right to re-draw a new winner under the same conditions. Non-compliance of the rules will result in the winner forfeiting the prize, and a new winner being drawn. The winners agree to the publication of their name and image in the print and electronic media, and to appear in person on radio and/or television, if Makro so requests. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the competition judges is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Makro reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which Makro reasonably deems necessary.
