1. This rewards programme is organised by  “Makro” which refers to Masstores (Pty) Limited, trading as Makro SA (registration number: 1991/006805/07) and Brandhouse (2003/021753/07). 2. This  Rewards program commences on 1 November 2011 and ends on 31 January 2012 (the  “promotion period”). 3. This competition is open to all Makro Cardholders except  the employees of Brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Ltd (the “Promoter”), trading as  Brandhouse, or employees of companies with share holdings in the Promoter, and  their respective advertising and promotional agencies, media and PR agencies, as  well as the family members, consultants, directors, associates and trading  partners of such organisations and persons. 4. All participants must be 18 years  of age or older at the date of entry and may be required to exhibit valid  identity documents as proof thereof. 5. Entry into the rewards programme is  automatic, using the customer details and actual purchasing data on the SAP CRM  system. 6. The participant will receive reward points automatically when  purchasing any Johnnie Walker® 750ml product at any Makro store during the  promotion period and while prizes last as follows; Johnnie Walker Red Label® = 10 rewards, Johnnie Walker Black Label® = 20 rewards, Johnnie Walker® Green Label™ = 30 rewards, Johnnie Walker® Gold Label™ = 50 rewards, Johnnie Walker®  Blue Label™ = 100 rewards. Gift packs not included. 7. The participants will receive prizes for the rewards as follows; with 30 rewards will receive 1 x Peak Cap, with 60 rewards will receive 1 x Pen & Pencil set, with 100 rewards will receive 1 x Leather travel wallet, with 150 rewards will receive 1 x Steel Ice Bucket & set of 4 Glass Tumblers, with 350 rewards will receive 1 x Travel Bag and with 500 rewards will receive 1 x leather postman bag. Prizes will be collected where the purchase was made. 8. Rewards and prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 9. The accumulated points will be communicated via e-mail or sms. 10. Only customers who have earned 30 rewards or more qualify to place an order during the redeeming period. A maximum of 1000 rewards per customer is permitted 11. Only customers who place an order will receive their chosen prizes. 12. Prizes must be redeemed before 31 March 2012. They can be redeemed by phoning the Makro call centre or on the Makro website. 13. Orders after the redeeming period has closed will not be honoured – no late orders will be accepted. 14. The prizes must be collected from your nominated Makro store, within 60 days of being notified. Failure to do so will result in the prizes being forfeited and sent back to the supplier. 15. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that their cell phone number or email address captured on the SAP CRM system are complete, accurate and up to date. 16. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value at any time and for any reason. 17. Neither Brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Ltd. trading as Brandhouse, and their respective advertising, media and PR agencies, nor their trading partners shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by a participant in this promotion. 18. The participant may be required to take part in publicity and participation in the promotion is conditional upon agreement to take part in such publicity. Participants will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the Promoter. 19. The promoter reserves the right to terminate, temporary suspend or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control or technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity. 20. Under no circumstances shall the promoter be liable to anyone who participate in this promotion for any indirect or consequential loss howsoever arising which may be suffered in relation to the promotion, whether as a result of any negligent act or omission or any default on the part of the promoter or otherwise. 21. Makro reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the Rewards programme, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which Makro reasonably deems necessary. 22. Liquor is not for sale to persons under the age of 18. Makro supports responsible drinking. Liquor will be sold on Sundays in Gauteng & PE only during specified hours that can be confirmed with your store. Prices include 14% VAT and bottle deposits. 23. The laws of South Africa govern these terms & conditions and participants agree to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
