| Many schools Nationwide are part of the Makro rebates programme, which is designed to generate extra funds for the school in order to purchase equipment, supplies or make improvements that would otherwise not be possible. |
The Makro school rebate programme rewards parents for shopping at makro by giving a
percentage of the profit from their purchases back to the school on a bi-annual basis.
This programme works on the existing Makro card system and as such there are no additional administration or infrastructure fees that are generated. This allows us to pay 100% of the rebate accrued directly to the schools.
It's easy to join, all you need is a Makro card, link it to your child's school and select the Makro store nearest to the school! It is important to note that whilst you are welcome to use your card at any Makro store, only the purchases made at the store nearest to the school will be acknowledged for the rebate.
 Once your card is linked to the school, the school will benefit every time you shop at the selected makro store by receiving a percentage of the profits.
