I needed an orbital sander to help with renovating our 100 year old house. Settled on this model, and find it excellent in doing what I need.

Ilike the fact that it is cordless and has all the usual features of a corded version like the speed controll and hook and loop papers.All in all 5 stars.

I purchased this tool, to add to other 18V tools I possess._x000D_
The tools had powerful oscillations, but no rotational power, therefore I returned it to Toolstation._x000D_
A replacement was ordered for me, but had an identical fault._x000D_
Is this a rogue batch that is at fault, or is the tool designed that way?

I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of this sander, very smooth in operation and a great range of speeds.

Probably the quietest sander I've ever used! This is a great sander, powerful and comfortable to use.
