Air filter oil is used to stop dust penetrating your filters. Used predominantly on sponge filters. It coats the sponge once you've washed it and then traps the dust over the air intake on the engine, preventing dust entering your engine and causing damage. Dust is any motor’s worst enemy when allowed to pass into the engine intake manifold. The Air Filter Oil gets sprayed on lightly over the surface of the air filter, which prevents dust penetrating the filter and the engine. This product is also available in a 1L liquid version, for application to the filters. The application ensures thorough coating and thereby full protection. Once the filter is washed with F61 Filter Cleaner and dried, ready for Filter Oil, a small amount of F61 Filter Oil is poured into a plastic bag, the filter is put into the bag, and the filter is squeezed a number of times, for it to absorb the oil in the bag. Once it is fully treated, the excess oil is squeezed out back into the bag to avoid running and messing when in position on the bike.
