    Ideal Dosage
    • Adults and children 12 years and over: 10 ml every 4 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: 5 ml every 4 hours. Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.

    • Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose using the dosing cup provided. Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours.

    • Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, nervousness, insomnia, rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing.

Do not take Flutex Cough Mixture if you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Do not take Flutex Cough Mixture if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take Flutex Cough Mixture for more than 7 days without talking to your doctor.

    • Alcohol: Alcohol may increase the risk of side effects of Flutex Cough Mixture. CNS depressants: Flutex Cough Mixture may increase the effects of CNS depressants, such as alcohol, benzodiazepines, and opioids.
