An excellent generator. Easy to move, start and use. Powers all appliances. Also manages heating appliances well (if only the heating appliance is switched on). I’ve purchased 5 in the last 2 years for myself and various family members for domestic use. Highly recommended.

The above generator is a winner indeed. We had no electricity for 18 days due to a transformer fault but the generator kept our heads above the water until electricity was restored. It will also serve well during loadshedding periods.

Only drawback I can think of is perhaps the noise. It is quite noisy, but not unbearable...

Decent generator especially on discount, I've bought two. Voltage regulator is decent, and the engine is sturdier than the smaller models provided you change the oil.

If you want the generator to last a long time then run it for about 10-20 hours on first oil. Drain oil while warm and replace with new oil. It's important to get the first oil out of the engine, to remove any metals in the oil caused by breaking in a fresh engine. If you miss don't do this it will wear down your engine quicke...
