I have just recently bought the steam, only been 2 weeks , so far so good on tiles, however i would not recommend it on laminated floor as the mop get too wet and has a potential of damaging the laminated floor. The disadvantage about the mop is that you need to first sweep your floor or vaccum before you use it,other wise it will not be effective.

It is a good product. Tiles appear noticeably cleaner afterwards. It works much faster if an Extra Strength Mould & Mildew Stain Blaster is applied about 3 to 5 minutes before using the steam mop. That will soften the tough dirt and stained spots. Yes, I can recommend this product.

The newer version, the BLACK+DECKER 1600W SteaMitt, might be a good buy too.

Best mop ever, so easy, so convenient, so effective! I have no regrets, it works wonders! I use it for basically everything. Including the walls, ceiling and rims, the bathroom, kitchen, the microfibre attachments is even great for my couches and car seats! Highly recommend!

Steams and cleans well, but it has to be refilled very often due to the small tank. To clean the shower required 4 refills! So if you have small areas to clean, it will work fine. The garment steamer attachment could have been better.
