A basic printer that works well and is cost effective. It does NOT have AirPrint (phone to printer option). I have bought three over the years and they have served me well. You can buy generic laser cartridges that fit and work well. It has a scanning option which I guess is pretty much defunct.

Worth the price! Really fast printing. Print and scan works from Android smartphones using the Brother app.

It’s a little noisy, and when printing double sided can cause issues where the printing process makes the paper fold and doesn’t get picked up by the feeder very well. Scanning is excessively complicated, having to go through several prompts to scan a document, and have had some wireless connectivity issues. Awesome quick and quiet laser printer for home. I replaced my aged Brother laser 1100 with a new MFD and loving the speed and quality of printing and scanning. We’re using wifi and sharing with a few home users.

Very affordable printer with decent printing quality and speed. Much better than my old non-wifi printer.

Great printer - the scanner unit adds great functionality to the printer! Easy to use controls on the printer itself - needed to read wifi setup manual but worked well!
