Exactly what I wanted. The chair is substantial and a bit heavy, but it rides very smoothly and with great stability. You can spend more/less money but I believe this wheelchair was /is a very good value for the cost. It was delivered just 2 days after my order date but I do live just a few hours from their distribution facility. It was fully assembled except for the leg rests and they're very easy to put on: no tools necessary.

I just had a minor fracture but needed to keep weight off my leg. Could use crutches or walker but it's so much easier to use a wheelchair, and WalMart offered a great price. I wished I had paid the extra $10 for quicker shipment. The first week after a fracture is when it hurts the most, needs to be elevated to reduce swelling, and it's easy to have a second accident with a mis-step on crutches. The chair is well constucted but pay attention to the width specifications. It will accommodate most adults, but if you have someone who weighs in at 225 or more, the chair will probably be too narrow. The leg/foot support does not lower more than shown in the picture, so the chair needs more room than some others when maneuvering. I am very satisfied.

Bought this for my 90 year old mother in law after hip surgery was light weight and well made had bought one similar for my aunt years ago from a medical supply store and paid over 400 dollars for that was the same quality
