I bought this machine not more than 8 months ago. Intially it worked well. Very convenient and powerful. 8 months later, I only get under 2 minutes use out of the machine then the battery is flat. That's after being fully charged. Unless I'm sitting with a dud battery, I would not recommend this machine to anyone.

We were excited to use our new cordless vacuum cleaner, but this abruptly ended in sadness when our "new" vacuum cleaner was missing a charger. I even asked before buying why the box is missing a seal and was assured that all there. We always had confidence in the Genesis brand from history.

I bought this in January and it has been a great disappointment. By the beginning of March the handle broke where it folds and I had to return it for repair. By the end of April the motor stopped working and I had to return it for repair. In the beginning of June the motor stopped working again and I had to return it for repair. I bought this vacuum in December, and the part that folds broke , it randomly started folding whilst I was vacuuming hadn't pushed the button for it to fold and it snapped, tried taking it apart to see if I could fix it but it broke off the hinge, had to tape it up, then when I tried using the vacuum after putting to on charge it won't switch on , my Electrolux vacuum that I bought 3 years ago is still going and has never given any issues , so disappointed and what a waste of money
