I have google home and it integrated seamlessly

ok, I just replaced my 2 Roku sticks with these and all I can say is that this is what the Streaming experience on a TV should have been like all along. While there is something to be said for the simplicity of just seeing your apps like on Roku, once you start watching too many things on too many services it becomes too difficult to keep track of. Had this since November now it’s April 27 and it constantly stops . Go to settings to check update and it just constantly ‘loads’. Absolutely terrible device.

Easy to use pleanty of apps can only get better

The Chromecast with Android TV is probably the best streaming device we own. Best thing about the Chromecast is being able to cast an app that is on your phones screen. Plus when your phone is dead you can use the remote to play from apps that are installed on Android. Purchase it to use YouTube TV and it works great for that. Setup was a little time-consuming. I prefer Chromecast remote over the Apple TV remote.

Turns any tv into a smart tv. Have Youtube tv so this is a must.

Love it. Easy to set up. Easy to use . Sometimes hey Google not very smart and says can’t do a function it has done 1000 times . Remote control is easy to use and will save you from screaming at the hey Google .

I really wanted to love this streaming device. A year later, the remote stopped working and it appears to be common issue according to the complaints on the Google help site. So prepare to spend you evenings resetting, rebooting, cursing, apologizing to guests for ruining movie nights. Just pay for a second remote to backup Googles failure to admit, recall and do the right thing. There may be better streaming device options due to Google failing to acknowledge the common issue.
