Sound quality is ok but it wont calibrate with the mic at all and the remote is very cheap. Extremely unhappy that a brand new product wont function as supposed. When calibrate button is pressed nothing happens.

I have three JBL sound bars with my house. Unfortunately, this one doesn't hold up to the others. I have this one in my master bedroom. Quality of sound is decent. A little heavy on the high range. Hello, I have a problem related to JBL 5.1 multi beam, I can't update the software, the bar is connected to the internet and via wi fi and cable but the update does not start automatically, now I want to try the update option by usb but I can't find where I can download the latest firmware version, probably because of this old software the calibration is not done either, please help me with a link where I can download the update, thanks

I set my soundbar on top of my 55" TV, with it angled downward slightly towards my seating area. I also did this with the previous JBL SB450 I had before this upgrade. As with the SB450, I have the sub directly opposite of the 5.1 bar about 20' away and 4" from the wall. Bought this about a year and a half ago. Excellent sound, bass sounds good. Wish JBL had 1 app for all their products but the speaker itself works great.

I’ve owned the jbl 3.1 1st generation soundbar for many years and I love it so much I wanted to upgrade to this jbl 5.1 sound bar, what a disappointment my jbl 3.1 1st sound 20x better and the bass is much more noticeable on the jbl 3.1. Dont recommend. The 5.1 surround bar has alot of capability and did when i first bought it. Till JBL released an update about 2 years ago that now has lowered the quality of the bar, by which i mean when playing it at Volume 10 it now sounds like its at Volume 5 (after the update) which is quite embarrassing and i feel cheated.
