this sounds way more better than the partybox encore the encore cant handle low deep bass only high frequency bass but the boombox3 can handle it ez encore tends to be distort when you play songs with deep bass

I use it primarily on the beach when I'm boating. It sounds amazing and the battery lasts forever. My friends love it because they can easily Bluetooth connect to it. Truly a great product!

I've used quite a few JBL products in the past, and this one fills a gap that I had. I have a Partybox 310 that I use for my main sound/music for the house, and I've used Flip or Charge speakers for travel/pool party/bedroom music. Been eyeballing this model for a year after my xtreme 2 finally died after MANY years and countless hours of quality music.
