Not 24hr charge. I recently purchased one for my husbands birthday. We have used it twice and out of those times it only plays 2hrs and then dies, completely. Sounds is amazing, great design/build. However, I am highly disappointed in how mine is not lasting on a full charge.

I purchased this last week (7/16/23) before our beach trip. This speaker lasted roughly 5 hrs on 3 separate occasions (beach and pool). Audio sounds amazing but you’ll be left hanging midway through the party. Not worth $$$$

First off this thing gets loud, like really loud. But it also still sounds very good at those higher volumes. The speaker has very good highs and good mid range but it does lack a little when it comes to the low end bass. Still most music I have listened to has sounded great. Podcasts and audio books have also sounded great.

The sound of this boombox is out of this world! The treble is crisp, the bass is deep and punchy and there is so much sound coming from a medium sized boombox. Battery life is also amazing. The only drawback in my opinion is that it's bulky/awkward when carrying. Built in strap attachment poibts would have been amazing.

After I purchased the Sony XG500, I returned it due to the sound and looked at a Boombox 2 at the store, They didn't have any available so I went searching for the Boombox 3, I am so glad I did.
I'm really pleased, not only with the bass (the Sony had good bass too) but the highs and mids were equally impressive and didn't get drowned out by the incredible bass of this unit.

It gets quite loud but luckily doesn't lose much quality at the higher volume levels.

As an owner of boombox2 and 3 I can honestly, say that I’m very disappointed with the battery life on the current model. Battery last roughly 4-5 hrs on a full charge and that’s a moderate volume. Did a warranty claim on it and I was told that it could’ve been a Defect battery. Got a new one but battery still last about the same.

I was looking for something with plenty of volume, great sound, and could handle wet and sandy environments. The Boombox 3 fits the bill perfectly. I have other JBL Bluetooth speakers as well, but the Boombox 3 is next level on all fronts. Very impressed. Excellent speaker.

I am very happy with my purchase. We have 10 JBL speakers in our family and the boom box 3 is now my favorite. We started with flip 3 and then we purchased several Charge 4, 1 Extreme 2 and an Extreme 3. The Boom Box 3 has a lot more bass and depth to the sound. We also purchased 2 of the Party Box 300. These are great for more stationary use. Great for parties or gatherings. Overall, Boom Box 3 is my personal favorite.
