I tried to clone my computer to this drive and when I hooked up to my computer, it showed that it only had 9.86GBs available. It is supposed to be a 480GB SSD.

I've had some doubts about SSDs as to being reliable. This one has been trouble free. I made this SSD the boot disk by copying the old HDD image to this SSd and now my computer is super fast on boot up and loading programs. It is really light so it is just hanging free off the power and SATA cable. I may go back with some two sided tape and stick it to something... maybe.
To copy your old HDD you will have to lay out some more money for an app. or format the SSD and reinstall the OS.

FAILED after 8 months. Device now has constant I/O errors and data is irrecoverable.

I have an old HP ProBook that I put this SSD into and the whole computer is much faster now it is unbelievable.

I was finally able to do a windows "System cleanup" and cleared over 33 gig of old update temp files in just a few hours. Went from ~120g used down to 87g.

Nobody is perfect.
