It works but only when its about a foot from the usb, i had it plugged into the back of my pc and it would only work sometimes so i moved it to the front and it works most of the time. I was looking for something that could be a bit farther from the usb and still work.

After shipment was delayed for days I cancelled order. I then received refurbished items and they were NOT as described. Keyboard was "K540e" NOT the standard "K540". I guess indicating Refurbished. Keyboard did not have the "fn" keys and the WRONG mouse was sent. Instead of the full size M310 mouse (this combo is supposed to include), I received a M185 (laptop) mouse with clear signs of heavy use.

Nothing in Advertisement indicates "Refurbished" item...

after three months, the backlight quit working... keyboard holds the charge, but the light does not

Not backlit. I am really unhappy.

Keyboard was defective. Keys would not light up as they were supposed to.

This may be a nice keyboard, but I'm giving it one star for the inaccurate description, which caused unnecessary hassle to return, and worse, another week waiting to get a backlit keyboard I can use.

PLEASE BE WARNED ... THIS KEYBOARD DOES NO HAVE A CAPS LOCK INDICATOR ON IT. Perhaps older models did, however, this version does not, so if that's why you are considering ordering it (as I did), be forewarned.

I bought this keyboard before I needed the caps to work and I don't why but even with this new one every time I need to use numbers I have to hit the Num lock to get the numbers to work. So it is a bit of a pain having to do it each time I need numbers. no lights either on this keyboard. Only thing I do like is it has a small wrist rest which for me I would have liked it larger. Pay a little more and get what you want

I have been using this keyboard for about 3 weeks or so. It is very responsive for a medium speed typist. The keys are nicely beveled and pretty quiet. Nice wrist rest and full sized. The mouse is perfectly shaped and easily grip able. Very quick and east set up. Now lets see how long it performs at this level.
