It is a fairly good product, same as the previous model, now with a lithium battery. However, the battery life is not too good.

This Magneto Lithium is much lighter than the lead acid battery version, and the green light shown when is fully charged is convenient, hopefully the battery life will last longer than the lead acid version.

This light was a replacement purchase of similar lights but with lithium-ion batteries. It is light in weight and lights up a room during loadshedding. Lacking however is the charger but fortunately we could use our cell phone plugs.

I purchased the lithium model to replace previous lead acid battery model._x000D_
So far, I'm satisfied and the 'red /green' battery status led is a great improvement._x000D_
But do be aware, a 'normal' cell/tablet USB cable WILL NOT FUNCTION for auto switching if eskom power fails! _x000D_
It appears the supplied USB cable is unique to this light!_x000D_
Use only the supplied USB for auto switching!!!_x000D_
(Otherwise a 'normal' USB will still charge the device ...)

Awesome product! Lasts long. Nice and bright. Much better than the cheaper magneto lights.

These lights are not as powerful as the original magneto lights and the build quality is not good. The switch does not work properly and you have to fiddle with it until it works.
