This item worked very well. Just be sure to mask off surrounding surfaces for over spray. Alcohol may help if you do overspray. Made headlight covers clear as if brand new. I was very pleased. In addition, there was some spray, and cleaning solution left over for future cleaning.

Thee polishing cream is easy to apply and use. The final spray-on shine is very messy, requires careful masking for about 5 feet in all directions, but does a great job. Enough product for many at least 6 more uses, I'm guessing, but next time I buy a product like this, I'll get one with a wipe on final coating rather than spray.

This one comes with a spray protection. You have to worry about overspray. Meguiar's heavy duty kit comes with a liquid bottle protection you rub on. Read the reviews here and that seems to be the biggest problem. Prep depends on the age of light. Sanding is usually required. 3M makes a great kit too. But you'll need the protectant to keep the plastic pliable for a year until you have to do again. Plastic dries out and cracks like that.

I was a little skeptical on how well this would work and I was blown away when I finished them. I would definitely use this product again and reccomend it to everyone I know.

I used Meguairs previous headlight restore kit with the wet sanding and drill polishing, but it barely lasted a month. Thought Id try this and it was much easier than the last kit, besides the bit of extra masking to protect from over spray. The cleaning step worked just as well as wet sanding but in a quarter of the time and mess. This product did an excellent job. Headlights look almost like new on my 10 year old car. Indid 2 cars and have enough product left to do them again next year if needed. Highly recommend!!!

Stuff works! I'm a little disappointed in myself for not scrubbing longer. Major improvement, very happy. I will re do in the spring...too cold right now. Definitely recommend!
