Makro & Game “Win with Hisense” Competition – Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is HISENSE SA SALES HOLDINGS PTY LTD, trading as Hisense SA (hereafter referred to as “the Promoter”).
2. Competition Period
The competition runs from 24 October 2025 to 31 December 2025 (“the Competition Period”).
Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
3. Who May Enter
3.1. The competition is open to all South African residents, aged 18 years or older, who are in possession of a valid South African identity document or passport.
3.2. Employees, directors, agents, suppliers, or contractors of the Promoter, Hisense South Africa, Massmart, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected to this competition may not enter.
4. How to Enter
4.1. TV Competition Entry:
• Purchase any selected Hisense TV in-store or online at Makro or Game during the Competition Period.
• Retain your proof of purchase (till slip or online invoice).
• Submit your entry via scanning the QR code provided or the official competition website [https://hisense.typeform.com/blackfriday], uploading the proof of purchase.
• Each qualifying purchase counts as one entry. Multiple entries are permitted, provided each is linked to a separate qualifying purchase.
4.2. Audio Competition Entry:
• Purchase any selected Hisense Audio product in-store or online at Makro or Game during the Competition Period.
• Retain your proof of purchase (till slip or online invoice).
• Submit your entry via scanning the QR code provided or the official competition website [https://hisense.typeform.com/blackfriday], uploading the proof of purchase.
• Each qualifying purchase counts as one entry. Multiple entries are permitted, provided each is linked to a separate qualifying purchase.
5. Prizes
5.1. TV Competition Prizes
• There are three (3) prizes to be won, each consisting of a Hisense 98” Q6Q TV.
• The total prize pool for the TV competition consists of three Hisense 98” Q6Q TVs.
5.2. Audio Competition Prizes
• There are three (3) prizes to be won in the Audio competition, consisting of the following:
5.3. Prizes are not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product.
5.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes with items of equal or greater value if necessary due to stock or availability.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. Winners for both competitions will be randomly selected by the Promoter via a verified draw process after the competition closes, no later than 20 January 2026.
6.2. Winners will be contacted telephonically and/or via email using the details provided at entry.
6.3. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternative winner.
6.4. Winners must hold a valid and up-to-date TV license in their name before the prize can be awarded.
6.5. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity and proof of purchase before awarding the prize.
7. General Conditions
7.1. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
7.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if deemed necessary due to circumstances beyond its control, without prior notice.
7.3. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in this competition or accepting any prize.
7.4. Winners consent to the use of their name, image, and photographs for publicity purposes without any further remuneration, subject to their right to decline participation.
7.5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry if fraudulent activity is suspected or if the participant breaches these Terms.
7.6. Prizes can be collected from the relevant Makro or Game store or delivered directly within 3 months after the draw date.
7.7. The Promoter and Hisense reserve the right to verify entries and purchases to ensure eligibility and authenticity.
8. Data Privacy
8.1. All personal information collected will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
8.2. Data will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition and will not be shared with third parties unrelated to the competition.
