Terms and Conditions: King Pie Competition

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is King Pie (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 1997/008676/07 (“the Promoter”).

2. Competition Period

The competition runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 October 2025. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Who Can Enter

• The competition is open to all South African residents, 18 years or older, in possession of a valid identity document.
• Employees, directors, agents or consultants of King Pie, Massmart, their immediate families, and marketing service providers may not enter.

4. How to Enter

• To enter, purchase a King Pie Frozen Pies box (6 + 2 Free) during the competition period.
• Each valid purchase counts as one entry.
• Proof of purchase (till slip) must be retained and presented to claim the prize.

5. Prizes

• 10 x Salton Airfryers are available to be won (1 per winner).
• The supplier (King Pie) will deliver the prizes to a central location, and the Massmart buyer will coordinate awarding.
• The total prize pool value is approximately R335,000.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

6. Winner Selection

• Winners will be selected by means of a random draw after the competition closes.
• Winners will be contacted telephonically. If a winner cannot be reached after 5 consecutive working days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner selected.
• Winners must provide valid identification and proof of purchase to claim their prize.

7. Delivery of Prizes

• Winners will receive their Airfryer within 30 days of the draw being conducted.
• The Promoter will coordinate delivery to the designated central location for collection.

8. Data & Publicity

• By entering, participants consent to the Promoter processing their personal information for purposes of administering the competition, in line with the Consumer Protection Act and POPIA.
• Winners agree to the publication of their names and images in marketing materials, without remuneration.

9. General

• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the competition without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Neither the Promoter, Massmart, nor their agents will be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this competition or from use of the prize.
• Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
