If you are looking for budget memory that is reliable go with Patriot. I have used their products for years and this holds that quality level. If you have a choice of a no name and Patriot always choose Patriot. A great drive for upgrading laptops too.

Very very fast drive. Amazing read and write speeds. As for longevity, we will see. I would recommend this to anyone looking for solid and fast storage.

If you dont want to spend alot for a few bits of stroage i recommend buying this SSD.

Put this affordable SSD to a few read/write benchmarks. It holds its own against more expense makes and models (until the read/write packet size reaches 16 MB)

Drive lasted maybe a week. After that it failed completely and became a paper weight. It was just outside the 30 day return window when I noticed. It was just in a family PC for light gaming. Reaching out to Patriot, they would replace it, but I have to handle shipping costs. For a $17 drive, it's just not worth the time or effort. I would recommend spending a bit more for a drive that will last more than a week and save the aggravation of packing and then shipping a cheap SSD.

Purchased this for an older Hp Laptop to restore for my granddaughter and never worked correctly .
From the start it come new. but with bad sectors so possibly defective.
Sorry to say , but it a piece of damaged junk.
This is the second supposedly new item I've purchased defective. Yes, make sense to sent a little extra and get a quality item.
