lasts until warranty expires and then breaks
Nice kettle works as it should. Stainless steel and all. But the weak point is the water level indicator which is plastic that protrudes inside the kettle with 2 silicone seals. the plastic dries out and disintigrates resulting in a water leak inside the handle

Great all round quality & reliability
Well made. Sturdy. Smart. Works very well. You can't really go wrong with this kettle. Definitely one of the better kettles on the market. I only wish it had temp control...but then I know it would not have been such a reasonable price. It definitely is value for money
