I bought one as a test , as this is an investment to a household - so I run a 65" Tv- Telkom landline,5g wifi, stand fan and a lamp for a 2hr load shedding it uses 1 bar on the indicator and takes 47 minutes to recharge - on a 4 hr load shedding it uses 2 bar indicator and takes 1hr 28 minute to recharge - was so happy I bought another one to run 9 channel CCTV, wifi printer , router extender and a tv in the office space and any charging of devices - during 2 hr load shedding the inverte...

Purchased 2 of these, 1 week apart. 1 gave up 1 week ago. The other this week. They have a max life span of 6 months. One was used regularly for TV and CCTV Cameras (100Watts max), One to run router and fish tank air pump (15 watts max). Batteries never dropped below 80 %. Same life span. On 50watts drawn it goes flat in 20 minutes. Drops from full bars to dead in 30 seconds after 20 min. Go lithium or go home. Stay away from this nonsense

This is a super terrible product! The manual is useless, you can’t see when it’s fully charged. I charge it for over 8hrs but whenever I plug it in it always says battery empty and switches off instantly. I’ve had it for 3 weeks but can’t really use it at all!

The battery on this thing only has a 6 month guarantee. it will last longer that that, but probably not by much. Mine lasted only 11 months. A replacement battery from the supplier will cost R7000 (as at 25/1/2024). Don't buy it - you will be disappointed. In fact, don't buy any of RCT's products.

Great product, very reliable so far (three weeks since purchase). The manual is not very explanatory but I managed to figure out the initial configuration. It makes a slight humming noise when it's on but this is not too intrusive and the LED panel is always lit so you might want to cover it up in a darkened room.

It keeps my desktop PC, fibre router and two desk lights going during loadshedding.

Great value-for-money from MAKRO - I got it as a special.

So far I sm happy. This inverter is so silent when in use compared to other alternatives its like its not even there.
