The coat I colored came out a nice red. It was white to begin with, so I guessed that helped.

Don't really know the rating. To scared to try it. Please review all the instructions before buying. Many different recipes/depending on clothing materials and washer type. And also how many clean up steps you are required to do, to keep your washer safe.

Wonderful
This was my first time trying this stuff. I had a white bodysuit that I wanted to dye black, but I didn’t realize that it was polyester and I should’ve gotten the dye for synthetics. I tried it anyways and it turned the bodysuit gray which I liked but then I noticed pink/purple spots on it from the dye. I may try it again with the dye for synthetics and see how it does.

Light gray?
Cotton shoelaces were white. Tried to use Rit black to dye them black and now they’re light gray. Yes I followed the instructions.
