I needed to dye items red, yellow, and white. So I tried several of these Rit colors. I know Rit had a Yellow sue. I found dandelion and lemon yellow. This Lemon Yellow is my favorite but I now can’t find it in store. I ordered some but one of the bottles was not Lemon Yellow, instead they gave me Dandelion. I used it not paying attention and I got three dandelion dresses. And one Lemon Yellow jacket because I started with the jacket first.

Anyway, these liquid Rit bottles...

I needed to sue items red, yellow, and white. So I tried several of these Rit colors. I know Rit had a dark red. Perhaps it was the Scarlet Red?

Anyway, these liquid Rit bottles do not work as well, in my opinion, as the powdered ones in the box. And maybe I just used too much water. Which once I did them again I used half of the water per the instructions. To me the second and third tries worked better.

Of course, at this point I have spent like $50 to turn my old white dresses different...

but now purple

i used buckey method hot water and salt

I love Rit dye but it never seems to color as it says, even following the directions. I have used many different colors and they always seem to wash out and go dull after a few washes, which it claims it won't do. I even followed their video directions on their website, still didn't work like theirs did. Still better than other brands unfortunately.

love this stuff. I have a lot of black leggings and they lose their color after multiple washes Follow directions for type of fabric and they look brand new

I bought one bottle of black. My pants did not get black so then I went and bought another one plus the other kind of stuff you put in it in my pants still on black so I have wasted money on three of your products.

Great product. I always trust the Rit brand.

It might be me, but even when I try dying a single shirt it comes out blotchy. When I did several they looked almost tie-dyed so I tried just one the next time. Better, but I'd love to know how to make the clothes one single color.

Horrible. No change in color at all on areas where bleach got on pants legs.
