Does not even pick the color, I used black die exact instructions but the cloth came out brown. Definitely not happy

it was okay I had to use 2 boxes to turn a pair of dark blue shorts completely black but eventually it works

I've used this a few times and tried both the pan and the washer method, following the directions exactly, with the same lack-luster results. Directions say to double the dye for dark color, but still ends up purplish gray. If you have something that is light colored that you want to actually be black, consider buying 3-4 packages.
