This is a good storage m.2 it helped me with all my problems

Had this SSD for a few years now and it died with the recent firmware issues. Do not get this SSD it is cheap but you will lose all your files.

Added 1tb Samsung 970EVO Plus superb !! to my spare LG Gram 17" bay superb, also "Magician" is great 10 out of 10

I just bought this drive, and as I was on Dell Inspiron 7373 laptop with just the one slot, installed the new drive into a USB adapter in preparation for migration and connected it to the USB port. Samsung Migration wouldn't recognize the drive in the USB enclosure. Had to buy and use a third-party migration tool to perform the job. Windows did recognize that there was a SAMSUNG disk in the enclosure, but the migration tool didn't. Did not have this issue earlier with a Crucial disk, though, ...

Died few years later, wont recommend Samsung SSDs anymore. The a batch of 9xx series have firmware issues from factory, the average joe isnt going to know they need update the firmware and use it. Google Samsung ssd firmware issue and just get another SSD brand.

This image was taken during me encrypting my drive, normal usage is like 80 degrees, is this normal?

The reason is because this M2 is type TLC based memory, for the next time evaluate buy a M2 on MLC or SLC type based memory

I know this product is great, but just wanted to know if it is compatible with imacs.

I don't recommend this product. Bought 3 years ago and now it has died.
