I learned about this too late but, apparently according to several expert reviews: If you have a Samsung TV, you may have experienced the well-known Samsung TV “black screen of death”. This is when your TV is powered on, but you cannot see a picture. Just out of a 2-year warranty, this happened to me. A quote to fix R4500 is not feasible. I assumed the Samsung brand is reliable so I am disappointed.

Excellent picture quality. Easy to set up and navigate. Only major drawback is the operating system which means a very limited range of the more common applications.

It's nearly two months since i bought this. It is a good TV. It has great sound quality, nothing wrong with the picture quality and regular apps such as DSTV Stream, Showmax, Prime Video, Netflix etc work as expected. I have however, had the privilege of owning smart TVs from other brands and because of that, I am slightly disappointed. I bought it a last weekend, and the I am not happy with the picture quality. I want to return it for a different one.

Obviously not the best tv on the market, but has it's purpose for kids viewing of Netflix and Youtube without worrying about the perfect picture quality.

I am very happy with the purchase of my TV. It works seamlessly with my Bluetooth speakers, and because I have a Samsung phone, I'm able to control the TV with the SmartThings app. Picture quality is great, and the colours just pop.

Bought this a month ago. Pretty happy so far - great picture quality (especially in movie mode). Great smart features as well, use the DeX feature quite a lot between my phone and TV. So far so good.
Decent sound as well, soundbar is not a must.

I would recommend this smart TV, high quality and per the spec of the TV and delivery was quick.
