I got this to finally back up my computer, which I've been meaning to do for a long time! I'm just using it as a basic computer backup (docs, photos, etc.), and it fits the bill perfectly. At 2TB, I can backup everything on my computer with plenty of space leftover. It's about the size of a cellphone, but thicker. I haven't tried dropping it or getting it wet, but it seems incredibly sturdy/protected. Supports USB 3.0, so pretty fast transfer speed! It gets the job done for me.

Ordered this hard drive because it has been rated to have a superior build quality and life expectancy. At first i was blown away by all the specs, waterproof, drop proof etc. I am a marketing specialist so these specs blew me away as I have had drives fail in the past and wanted to avoid having to pay to recover data and the stress that comes with it. I received this and I LOVE it! I can store SOOO many photos on it. I was able to clear out my pc and now that runs so much better! I use it to store my photos and videos from my phone that I cannot keep as well. You cannot beat the amount of storage space you get with it. You also get a trial of adobe as well! It's well made for sure and I dont have to worry about dropping it since its protected. I absolutely love it!

The lacie mini has amazing quality with 2TB of storage! I love this drive for storage! It’s seriously impossible to break! It’s so sturdy and the rubber protective cover is the best quality I’ve seen! You could drop, or spill something on it and it’s not going to damage it! I highly recommend!
