These chairs have a weak spot in the way that it is manufactured. At first glance, it seemed sturdy and strong with a nice wide base. However, we ordered this for a course. Thus, people had to sit for an extended period of time on these chairs (8 hours a day). After the 2nd day, 5 chairs broke through at the exact same (weak) spot - in front of the chair. The people who were using it, were small and petit in frame, most of them weighing between 50 - 60 kg, thus weight is not the issue. ...

The chairs are fine, they are not for relaxing so its not too sturdy but you get what you pay for. I have no complaints really, I need it for Xmas lunch and it worked out pefect.

The chair is quite sturdy, I'm a student so this will do for my at home studies, just put a pillow behind your back for enhanced comfort.
