Used only a few times, then the display was jumbled. Took it to a store to change the battery - display still not working. Googled reviews and found this was a common issue.

This is my second Thermometer. I bought it to replace one that I accidently dropped into my hot grill. (oops) Both Thermometers work great. Glad I bought them. BTW- the original one still works accurately. It's a little melted, (ok,a lot melted) but it still works and it is over two years old.

I bought this thermometer a couple months ago, I used it 3 times and now the display is messed up! Tried a new battery, same thing!

Reads 185 and the chicken is still pink. Such a disappointment. Money out the window.

I was in the middle of using this when the display went out. I changed the battery twice and nothing is helping. I came on here to try to troubleshoot the issue because the thermometer is only a few months old. I am so disappointed and after seeing the reviews, I’m glad I’m not the only one confused by this production shutting down shortly after purchasing.

I bought this a year or so ago. Now the LCD screen is messed up. Can’t read the numbers.

Have had this thermometer for maybe 6 months, stopped working, thought it was the battery, changed the battery and still won't work.

Purchased 2 of these thermometers over the past year, and both failed very quickly. The first one was purchased last fall, and after roughly 6 uses the display got scrambled. It did work very fast and accurately though, so I rolled the dice on a second, hoping the first failure was a fluke. The second one suffered the same death after two uses.

If I had any level of confidence in this lasting for 5 years, I’d say it’s absoutely worth it. After going ...

Bought this from a local home store. Best instant read digital thermometer I’ve owned. But once the battery died, couldn’t get it working again. Tried 4 different batteries from 4 diffferent packs. _x000D_
