It is great at keeping steady temps for long and the large water pan allows for a moist cook. I have had the 18 inch for years and never had anything that would not fit. I hear it is more efficient than the larger 22 inch one.

The WSM is probably the most uncomplicated way to smoke meats. I’ve made ribs, brisket, and pulled pork without any issues and had a blast doing it!!

After much researching i chose this as my first smoker.

Its 4 out of 5 stars, it has a lot of value but some shortcomings.

Out of the box it's pretty much ready to smoke but there's a few details that would be nice.

A seal kit helps a lot with smoke loss and temp regulation.

And there is no place to set the lid so make sure you have some cardboard or a towel when cooking.

Other then that get some levers for the vent wheels and a temp probe.

I takes a bit of practice but the learning is fun. Keeping the heat stable, how much smoke and what type all take a bit of time BUT when you figure out how you like it its golden. My srtrip bacon, back bacon, pulled pork, ribs, chicken. All good :)

Bought the 14" and within 4 months found a brand new non current 18" at my local home depot. _x000D_

Def would recommend anothernone of these...i might buy a second one for the cottage.

I have used it 2 times now. Once for ribs, and once for a whole brisket. The results were excellent. I just wish it were easier to add fuel, the water dish is partially in the way.

Very compact and easy to store and put together and also very easy to keep temperature controlled

This is a great smoker. I love the ease of use and that it maintains the desired temperature.

Bought this about 4 months ago to replace my electric smoker and i haven't looked back. It's so simple to use and operating costs are much smaller then the pellet smoker. Once you get it dialled in with the vents it pretty much hits 225-250 degrees and stays there for the entire cook. I live in Manitoba and have used this in -35 Celsius without issues. Cleanup is a breeze with the way the smoker breaks into 3 main pieces. Great item by Weber

Had the Weber Smokey Mountain for over a year and love it. Works awesome and I have been able to try new food items and ways to smoke through others on You Tube.
