Bought this a month ago and am very pleased with build and ability to maintain low temps and achieve high temps. I say it is almost perfect because it should have come with a coal rake standard and it is annoying to use the snapjet chimney lighter when the charcoal grate is on the higher (i.e. for high heat) position, meaning you have it put it on the lower one to properly and quickly light the chimney and then move it up to the higher position after. Love it so far, have owned many Weber products over the years this one is by far my favorite. Have done a few 10+ hour cooks with great success. I use this grill 3-4 times per week as a regular grill and i love the size of the cooking grate when setup for indirect cooking. It was a slight learning curve from a regular kettle (mainly how to setup for the type of cook you want). I upgraded from a trusty old Performer to the Summit Kamado S6. The S6 was easy to assemble, even by myself. It is lightweight but sturdy, and compares very nicely to heavier ceramic komados. I also like the gas assist, but do find it inconvenient when wanting to use the upper charcoal grate position. After things get lit, it's easy to control and maintain temperature. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to many happy years with it.
