Small. No additional power source.

I researched external hard drives and WD My Passport Ultra 2TB got good reviews at other sites so I picked this up at my local Walmart for a very reasonable price. This external hard drive does a great job. I only have one very tiny complaint, the bloatware backup software installed on the drive by the manufacturer, but that was very easily deleted. Otherwise it works very fast when connected to a V3 USB port.

it works as stated, can save a lot of pictures and music, it's plug and play. a great way to save space and memory on your computer

I though an exyernal SSD did the same as an internal one, but no its just a large memory. Hower so far it works well

Does what it says. The device transfers rather quickly, even with the quick remove function enabled on windows. I like that the cord is very short because it's less to store and I normally set it next to my laptop anyways.

I got a new laptop and had pictures and videos of my 9 month old on the old laptop. It works but hard to operate the different operations. Best to download the PDF file and use it.

The HD works great the only bad thing I can see for people is because it is USB 3 but it works with USB 2. The USB cable is USB 3 and it is very short so if you want a longer one you will have to buy one. The HD will not work or power on if you connect the USB cable into a USB 2 extension cable. Also I saw this HD on Amazon at the same price and it came with a HD case this one has NO case. I bought one for $5 at Target.
