I purchased the Cerave SA Smoothing Cleanser for my husband who experiences congestion and breakouts on his back and chest. The SA Smoothing Cleanser has worked wonders for him and has really cleared his skin up without drying it out or irritating it at all. This product foams up well but doesn't strip his skin at all. This is a really nice clear gel cleanser with salicylic acid, which is targeted for those with acne-prone and bumpy skin. SA provides a gentle exfoliation and is perfect to use morning and night. It feels quite gentle and isn't too stripping (although I would always use a moisturiser after cleansing, as it does clean very effectively).

This was a good cleanser that did its job. However, it did not really do much for my skin. and it was slightly drying for my skin but after I put moisturiser on, it was fine. After using this for a few months, I did not notice my bumps get smaller.

The CeraVe smoothing cleanser is probably my favourite product from their range and as someone with oily and acne prone skin it works well not only for my face but my body too. I use this product for keratosis pilaris on my arms and my legs and have found that it has really helped to get rid of the little bumps. I have struggled with this condition my whole life and have tried so many different products and this is the only one that has worked! I have taken before and after photos and noticed a big difference! Definitely recommend to anyone struggling with keratosis pilaris. I would avoid using on the face because i find it is quite harsh (strips away the dead skin)...
