This fridge did not work from the moment it arrived. Absolute nightmare to try arrange a replacement through Makro. It has been a week and Makro has still been unable to confirm what the way forward is with arranging a replacement.

I bought this product six months ago. In this period it had to be repaired 5 times due to the freezer part not working. I am still waiting for makro to send me a better solution than sending out repair people. Terrible product, terrible service.

Love this fridge / freezer combo. Plenty of space with deep shelves that gives plenty of storage. The door shelves are also really spacious and wider than expected. Cools and freezes really fast, is quiet and does exactly what it needs to do. Will buy this item again given a choice.

Brilliant product. Had an issue with the compressor being a little loose after delivery, got in touch with Makro and within a day the defy technician came through, one screw had come loose, he checked it and sorted it out. Been amazing ever since, really happy!

The fridge is very nice and large in size. Cools and freezes well

When we received ours there was an error in the assembly which caused the fridge to make a lot of noise. When opening up the base plate that was attached incorrectly we noticed that the one anchor for the compressor was stripped which added to the noise. Once the anchor was stabilised and the plate reattached correctly, the noise reduced drastically.

Our fridge/freezer, which has been in service for about 25 years, finally broke down and we had to buy a new one very soon. The delivery of our new Defy 559l side by side naturelight frost fridge/freezer was fast and friendly. It works properly and is truly an asset. Grateful.
