My granddaughter loves to draw, take pictures and play her ukulele! Right now she's undecided about her furure.. (she's 13!!) Her mother and I try to encourage in in ALL avenues until she's further along in H.S. to have a well rounded life and career..That's why I knew she would love to try these pastels. She's never worked with them or charcoals, only pencils so far, but has many sketch books filled! She calls me "boomer"..I guess that's what "they" refer to grammas these...

blend well but I won’t be using these not because of I don’t think they will work well but I have to be honest and say that the sticker on box stating some chemicals including Titanium Dioxide which is known to state of California to cause cancer keeps me from wanting to use these ,although they are beautiful colors and probably work beautiful.I just can’t get past the sticke...

I loved these! They are just the right size to hold. This would be great for any artisian. My 8 yr old loved these. not sure if she held one to long but the red stained her fingers. The colors pop when used for highlighting something while drawing. Colors blended well.

These pastel sticks are fabulous. They are so smooth they are perfect for color blending. I also like the fact they are half-length. I have had full length ones before and they tend to break easily so this size is ideal for me. And, all 24 colors are beautiful! In fact, I love it comes with so many colors in such a practical small-size case. This is just another great quality Faber-Castell product. I’m so happy I got them!

I received the Faber-Caastell Goldfaber Soft Pastels. These pastels are almost chalk like and come in a nice case where they all fit perfectly. They are very soft and can blend very nicely. There are 24 in this set total. Ranging from white, yellows, pinks, blues, greens all the way to black. I think there are so many colors in this is probably the only set you will need. The pastels are very nice and are just the right size for me or the kids. I like that the colors are really vibrant and easy to use. They can be shaded with just a rub or a finger swipe. The clean up is so nice.

I just love these crayons. It brings out the color in my drawings. The colors are soft and vibrant. I am so glad I came upon these. It comes with a couple of different colors to choose from. And they are strong and sturdy.

The pigmentation is great, and I love how they handle - they go on smoothly and can be blended, yet they are not very dusty or chalky compared to some other high quality pastels I've tried.
