I love the look and this 86 inch screen! I was sceptical we needed this size, but now I have experienced watching all my favourite basketball games is high definition I cannot go back. I also love the look of all my favourite sci fi movies on this screen. I can stop pining for a home projector now.

I am really impressed with the LG 86UT8050PSB. The picture quality is really good for a 86" inch display at 4k. Build quality is great as is the onboard sound quality and volume.

The LG operating system is very usable and has a great selection of content and apps. The remote is very easy to use and the controling with voice and hand movement is a real bonus.

Absolutely recommend buying one of these.

I did not expect the remote control to be so overly complicated coupled with a generally poor layout. There was no information on the box which disclosed that the remote acted as a pointer. Speaking with LG I learned that this feature (annoyance) cannot be disabled.

Love the LG 75, disappointed the remote is not lighted.

The magic remote is not so magic. It has a delay between pressing the button and the TV responding. Kinda feels like when the sync is off in a movie.
This TV will not download certain local apps like KSL+ which is unfortunate.
The picture is good but the home screen is really busy.

The TV is nice, great color. Takes awhile to figure out it's apps and how to find them and arrange them. NO Manual! Glad my Grandma doesn't have to figure out how to use it. The Magic Remote is garbage. Does not work well. Cannot control the volume or mute on the sound bar. Bought a nice LG, normal remote, and all those problems went away. Through out the Magic Remote.

I have been using for a month now and overall very happy. The picture quality is great for a large 86 inch TV. There was one hiccup trying to get the universal remote to work but after trying a few times and a power cycle, it eventually worked. I also get an error message from the TV OS sometimes when starting saying it is out of memory. The Lg ut8000 is surprisingly good tv, with a really good picture and good sound quality at a great price, compared to other tvs in its class
