The primary reason for purchasing this fridge was to save on electricity consumption. I have not been disappointed. The fridge and freezer together consumes less than 1 kWh per day (during winter, household of 2 persons). Well within specification. This might increase slighty in summer and for a bigger household. The volume of 224liter is inadequate for our specific needs. An energy efficient chest freezer (A-rating) was a cost effective solution for additional capacity.
