works great on cotton too
i wasn't sure it was the right one for natural fibers like cotton but it worked great. i covered an oil stain on a dresser scarf doily i made, the dye worked. easy to use, washer method.

On my own experience this item does not come out the color it supposed to be. You have to mixed with a different color.
